Places to Visit in Rajasthan

Rajasthan is the desert-fort circuit: Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal and Amber Fort, the lakeside palaces of Udaipur, Jaisalmer’s golden sandstone ramparts on the edge of the Thar, and the temple town of Pushkar with its annual camel fair. The classic loop runs Jaipur–Pushkar–Udaipur–Jaisalmer by road or overnight train. Come between October and March; April to June regularly pushes past 40°C.
